I have been wandering around looking for beauty-related videos on youtube for around three years and I just can't get enough of it. It seems like no matter how hard I am trying to save my mobile cellular data, something new came up on youtube and here we go again. To be frank, I regret nothing.
I really enjoy routine videos, like Waking Up With Me videos, or Get Ready With Me videos, basically videos about how they wake up in the morning and get ready. Please don't tell me I am the only one who thinks it is really entertaining! I don't know why but every time I finished watching them I always get this positive vibes. It feels like I want to be like them. I want to start waking up early, eating healthy food, working out in the morning, taking a good care of my body, putting a decent make up on my face, and the list goes on. Do you guys feel it too?
Even though it was scripted and maybe it wasn't all true (let's be honest here, my morning routine is me taking a quick shower and eating whatever it is on the dining table because I am always late), it never fails to lift me up. I am bowing down to you beauty gurus, thank you for making my morning routine seems so lame and inspiring me to be a better person.

It's 10.30 pm in Jakarta and I decided to create a blog - a media to express my interests and share my experiences. To be honest I'm a little bit nervous but also excited because this is something I want to do since a long time ago, and after months debating with myself whether to do this or not, today, i am proud to say i just took a baby step towards the enormous blogging world.
Just a brief introduction, my name is Alissa Fernanda and you can call me Alissa (p.s lissy is a nickname from my high school friends and i love it). I am an (almost) 18 years old teenage girl living in Jakarta. My zodiac sign is Cancer and I love to binge watching Friends (no I'm not ashamed). And oh, I have a lot of cats.
As I've told you before, my purpose creating this blog is to express and share. To be exact, to express and share anything that revolves around me and -well- beauty. Are you familiar with the term beauty blogger? Yes, I want to be a beauty blogger. I have always been interested in beauty related thing since I was around 15 years old. From now on I want to stop being a passive audience in beauty world, and start to contribute something that might be helpful to girls out there.
Aside from beauty, I am also interested in art and design. Hand-lettered fonts and watercolour artworks are my current eyegasm. I'm familiar with Photoshop, a little bit of InDesign, and that's it. It's a shame, I know, but I am a beginner with a lot to learn. My goal is to create my own website with my own design, and I really hope I can achieve that one day.
I know I am so left behind and have a lot to learn but it's okay, I am willing to learn. It takes time, but you know, rome wasn't built in a day.
